Die Eleganz, mit der Jeff den legendären Rosanna-Groove spielt, ist nicht zu erreichen. Unglaublich, wie er durch den Song tänzelt. This is a brass cover of Toto’s „Rosanna“ where I collabed with Christian Becker and was able to contribute drums. The collab was really fun and what is particularly remarkable is that Christian played all the instruments himself. Really good! Jeff Porcaro has always been one of my absolute favorite drummers and his credits read like a „who’s who“ of the music business of the 70s, 80s and 90s. In addition to his main band, Toto (Hold The Line, Africa..), Porcaro was also extremely successful as a session musician (including Michael Jackson, Madonna, Lionel Richie, Pink Floyd, Al Jarreau, Steely Dan, Michael McDonald, Boz Scaggs... and many, many more). His absolute trademark: Making (supposedly) simple things sound good and groove hard... in my opinion, a real art. The elegance with which Jeff plays the legendary Rosanna groove is unmatched. It’s incredible how he dances through the song.
