I read the text in the first image out to my partners and they were already grimacing at point 1, and did not believe me when I said that was the relatively normal part. I've never seen a romanisation system that relied on different fonts and italics before. Cursed!

I'm aware that the real issue is that I can't read Korean and need it romanised, that's a failing on my part

But why on earth does Busan get romanised with a b when it's a p sound

I can only imagine it's intended to stick one letter with one letter, except the romanisation changes based on position of the sound (ㅂ is initially romanised as b but finally as p), while the Korean letter doesn't

Maybe it's just one of the numerous issues with transliteration
