It's deeply embarrassing and outright confusing why the Army would spend such a large amount of money on Windows Server licenses. 1200 licenses is a LOT of licenses for what I could assume would be just some random computers or more padding to justify corruption and bribes or other stuff they blow their budget on.

It's quite stupid that Romania does not have a PROPER push for IT and digitization, or even just infrastructure and website modernization. Most of the government and agency websites look worse than something made in the 90s, they're mobile-unfriendly, dated and are so inconsistent. I could probably count on my fingers how many of these have some basic 3rd party-provided accessibility feature.

We're just spending absurd amounts of money on useless shit, IT projects filled with nonsense and cool promises that won't ever happen or get delayed indefinitely.
