#ScribesAndMakers 11 June 2026: How much do you worry about what others think of your creative work?
I don't. I do most of my writing for me - which means I write the best book I can for myself. If I like the story, it's great. Others have opinions and I can't write for everyone. Do I hope they like the books? Hell yeah. Do I worry if they don't? Nope. It wasn't for them. As for my physical art, I only hope the ones who receive it like it.

I write small town romance because there’s something magical about a place where everybody knows your name, love feels meaningful, and happily ever afters feel possible. I love creating stories filled with close-knit communities, cosy moments, swoon-worthy romance, and the kind of warmth readers can escape into for a little while. To me, small town romance feels like coming home 💗
