Almost 20 years ago I purchased my first camera. This photo was about a year in, from a trip that I took with some friends to some indoor and outdoor skate parks in Melbourne where we went rollerblading and skateboarding.

I can't say I really knew what I was doing with the camera settings at the time, but I managed a few neat shots and this was one that I was particularly proud of at the time.

If my memory serves me correctly, I think this skate park was somewhere in Sunshine.

It's probably going to rain through this week here. Today I made it out to the Los Gatos Creek trail and skated from the recharge ponds to DT Los Gatos (and back).
A couple of months ago, I bought a pair of rollerblades. I hadn't skated for a while, but it seemed like a good way to get more exercise with Luna, my dog at the time. Since the dogs are no longer living here, the original plan won't be happening, but I'm still determined to get some use out of them!
It was a nice cool day and I only fell once at the very end of the ride, as I tried stopping at a bench way too casually. I don't think anyone saw it. Here's a gif at the recharge ponds.
