Posthumous tribute album for Roky Erickson by the same producer who assembled Where the Pyramid Meets the Eye, which was a 1990 tribute album that introduced my to many of his songs (though I also knew the 13th Floor Elevators LPs).

I'm generally annoyed with the use of popular music in TV shows and movies. As much as I loved Out Flag Means Death, this broke the suspension of disbelief a few times.

However, I wasn't prepared for a recent #wednesday episode. They played the #rokyerickson song "I Walked with a Zombie" at an appropriate moment.

A nice surprise since it's a relatively obscure song. Is "Two-headed dog" possible later?

Der Eröffnungstrack #NightOfTheVampire entstand während einer schwierigen Lebensphase Ericksons, der nach Klinikaufenthalten zurückgezogen lebte. Die Platte enthält auch "The Interpreter" und "John Lawman" und wurde später neu aufgelegt.
