#Arosa , apparently it’s a ski resort. I went there once and remember a lovely train (or was it a tram?) ride through the mountains. And I also remember walking back to #Chur with my colleague / friend Max (there must have been a theatre there). It was, to say the least, a tough walk. Not so much because of the distance, but because the paths suddenly became so slippery and we were wearing ordinary ‘walking shoes’. It was too far to turn back and actually quite dangerous in places.

Years ago, I bought a Hi-Matic 7s.
Luckily for me, I was able to buy my collection of cameras before the analogue revival happened.
So I was able to buy loads of cameras for around 20 euros each .
It’s always nice to test something out with film ! I always had something to test with in my bag. You don’t actually need much to use a camera.

After a few hours of nothing but white, green and every shade of grey, you’re happy to find a bit of red ...

I think I took this photo because I had a " shutter button hunger " . Perhaps also because seeing all these sticks sorted by size gave me a sense of Swiss precision

After a few hours of nothing but white, green and every shade of grey, you’re happy to find a bit of red ...

How lovely, a red train against a white landscape. And always right on time. I’ve been lucky enough to visit Switzerland several times on tour with theatre productions. It’s a fantastic country, but actually maybe a little too expensive for my budget to use as a holiday destination.
I particularly love their respect for nature.

In my whole life, I’ve only been to Albinyana once, and just for one night. And yet I can still remember something about it… Probably thanks to the help of a few analogue photos. I’d taken other cameras with me too, and I remember a nice photo taken in a local bar and a few other things… I might come back to it later, but first I need to finish this Hi-Matic 7s series !

I remember zipping around #Ghent on my Yamaha SR 500, and at the time this Cabane hadn’t been open for long. A lovely initiative, and a beautiful location and little building. The #bar was closed, but it was still nice to stop by and take a few photos with my Minolta Hi-Matic 7s, which I was testing out.
