Years ago, I bought a Hi-Matic 7s.
Luckily for me, I was able to buy my collection of cameras before the analogue revival happened.
So I was able to buy loads of cameras for around 20 euros each .
It’s always nice to test something out with film ! I always had something to test with in my bag.
I even did some model photography with cameras I was testing using expired film and so on...
You don’t actually need much to use a camera.
You’ve got your film, your subject, the aperture and your shutter speed.

When I introduced the new collection, I mentioned that I used to try my hand at model photography using cameras that were new to me (old cameras). I can’t immediately find a model for this Minolta. However, here is a test shot of a female shop mannequin. It does, in fact, demonstrate the quality of the Rokkor lens...

For anyone actually reading this, my daughter is now 21, so it’s been a while

Years ago, I was contacted by an international photo model. She was completely obsessed with my photos and really wanted to pose for me. At the appointment there was a bit of confusion, because she found my photography so incredibly #feminine, and now a man was standing in front of her…
We still made a series of photos, and this photo of her back fits perfectly within this series.
