"Physical" is a song recorded by British-Australian singer #OliviaNewtonJohn for her 1981 eleventh studio album of the same name. It was released as the album's #leadSingle in 1981. The song was produced by #JohnFarrar and written by #SteveKipner and Terry Shaddick, who had originally intended to offer it to #RodStewart. The song had also been offered to #TinaTurner by her manager #RogerDavies, but when Turner declined, Davies gave the song to Newton-John.

What ultimately entertained and made me forgive many of its indisputable flaws is the concept of creating a genre-spanning universe in which all parts have everything and nothing to do with each other. As vague as that sounds.
