Lotta variation just with messing with layers. I have highlights, shadows, and fill on separate layers, and they're actually all using the exact same red, just with different layer combinations and opacities. It's very engaging to me to really zone in and try to figure out value and form in these shapes, especially when light starts to bounce between them.
