I mean, it would be one thing if it were your typical #Evangelical, "Gosh, I'm really worried about things, but I guess we have to support trump to uphold righteous things like right-to-life and such..."
Like, I'm NOT holding that up as any kind of virtue or anything GOOD to model. It's just an understandable brain-sickness, because it's the kind of brain-sickness I once HAD (though never for trump).
But the kind of apeshit stuff I overhear people say just really hurts my heart. Talking about trump's incomprehensible indigestion-pizza-dream-as-national-policy lunacy-du-jour like it's something brilliant isn't just a bridge too far.
It's a bridge I'd like to nuke.
