& so in sad but true #justice news:

The city of #NewOrleans was ordered by a federal# jury to pay $1M [not enough] on Wed to a #teen who suffered #SexualAssault by 1 of its #police officers. The verdict was delivered after just 3 hrs of deliberation in a #CivilRights trial where the jury found the #NOPD’s failed to properly vet & supervise Officer #RodneyVicknair.
