I am fascinated by rock in all forms, the striations, design, texture and ecstatic when I find a unique design with outstanding water reflections such as this. The calm water of the Shawanaga River Ontario Canada provided a fantastic capture of this rock face and boulder that had broken off the main rock formation.

I am fascinated with rock in any form, the shape, texture, striations, patterns, color and everything to do with it. At Sturgeon Chutes on the Wanapitei River, the water from the flowing river spilled over and settled on the lower portion of the rock. The reflections of the sky and clouds was lovely in the still water of this reflecting pool.

Wreck Island on Georgian Bay in the Massasauga Provincial Park is important not only for the diversity of rock types it contains by also for the processes and interactions of the earth's crust that have occurred here. It is a rock lover's paradise and I was in heaven.

The Chikanishing Trail, #KillarneyProvincialPark #Ontario Canada was a rough, rugged trail over rocky terrain and the odd rickety, weathered wooden bridge or boardwalk. The fall foliage was stunning especially with the pink granite.
