Have been hacking at #rocknix last week or so. Implemented a few bits mainly cleaning up the networking code but likewise have implemented comprehensive memory-management subsystem and tonight did the integration bits to expose it natively through #emulationstation #RetroGaming #handheld #linux

nyckiRocknix is a linux distro that targets 'retro handhelds' like Retroid and Anbernic. Those devices normally run Android, which is currently in full fuck-you mode, so if I were to buy a retro handheld I would be running Rocknix on it instead.
However, bad news: I asked in the Rocknix discord if i can count on them to take an anti-fascist stance, and their response was, in a word, "no".
Specifically, I asked if they were centrist, they gave me a "no politics" warning, which is a pretty clear answer to that.
If anyone else on the team wants to correct me, I'll gladly edit this post.

Too bad it doesn't support #Rocknix's on-screen keyboard. Guess I'll need to pair a Bluetooth keyboard.
