@apc So I realized I watched 19 seasonal shows in 2025 which is definitely a new record for me! And I still have shows on my list yet to watch - like Apothecary Diaries and Shoshimin. Coming up with my favorite was difficult, but the show I looked forward to week to week the most was Rock is a Lady’s Modesty. Watching these young women explore what it means to be themselves, their relationships with each other (with implied deeper meanings), societal expectations and just rocking out was a ton of fun. And of course the sweat!

I finished binge-watching "Rock is a Lady's Modesty" and I am already missing those girls. I want to watch them play some more hard rock!

With any luck there will be a second season of the anime at some point. In the mean time I will just drown my sorrows watching something else... /sigh

@apc #animangafoundit Ooo…character animation was a tough topic this week, but Rock is a Lady’s Modesty is a standout for me. With various camera angles, closeup shots of how they are playing, to atmospheric effects, I loved how they were able to express the intensity and emotions of being in a rock band. It also gets across how much they want to share their passion and love of rock with their audience and us.

Rock is a Lady's Modesty sure pulled no punches on the finale. It'd felt shaky the last several episodes but really got pulled along by the music. Using té for the finale was really good!
