#BillHaley & His Comets, die 1947 gegründete Rock and Roll Band schlechthin, brachte 1968 ihr Album " Biggest Hits" mit neu eingespielten Songs vergangener Platten heraus. In England wurde es von Hallmark Records als #RockAroundTheClock und in Nordamerika als "Rockin'" vertrieben.

Auch der in England namensgebende Song war auf der Scheibe, nachdem er bereits 1954 ihr erster und einziger Nummer-1-Hit in den USA und in UK geworden war.
