Il Fatto Quotidiano: Marotta sull’inchiesta: “C’è amarezza. Non esiste una lista di arbitri graditi o non graditi”
“Sono emozioni grandissime. Per un professionista come me, nato nel mondo del calcio, arrivare a vincere uno scudetto dell’Inter da presidente è qualcosa di unico e straordinario“. Così Giuseppe Marotta, presidente dell’Inter, a Sky Sport dopo il 21esimo scudetto dell’Inter ottenuto nella vittoria contro il Parma. Poi però il focus si è subito spostato sull’inchiesta arbitri che ha scosso il mondo del calcio, con l’Inter che è stata tirata in ballo: “C’è grande amarezza, da prima del Torino non faccio altro che dire: non esiste una lista di arbitri graditi o non graditi. Ci siamo sempre comportati con correttezza. Non abbiamo nulla da temere”, ha spiegato Marotta con chiarezza.
Il designatore di Serie A e B Rocchi è infatti indagato dalla Procura di Milano per concorso in frode sportiva. L’accusa è di aver fatto pressioni su alcuni arbitri e aver scelto direttori di gara “graditi all’Inter” e “non graditi all’Inter”. I fatti al centro dell’indagine si rifanno alla passata stagione: al centro ci sono alcune partite di Serie A (Udinese-Parma e Bologna-Inter), la semifinale di Coppa Italia di ritorno Inter–Milan, oltre a Salernitana–Modena di Serie B.
Poi Marotta è tornato sul trionfo in Serie A, dedicando lo scudetto a Cristian Chivu, esordiente su una panchina di una big: “Lo dedico ai tifosi, alla proprietà, che ci ha dato un’ampia delega per lavorare, ma è lo scudetto di Chivu e della squadra. Lo sottolineo. Se lo sono meritati. L’allenatore è il leader della squadra e noi dobbiamo supportarlo tutta la stagione. Sono contrario agli esoneri. Abbiamo avuto il coraggio di puntare su un allenatore che non aveva grande esperienza ma ha dimostrato di esser bravo”, ha spiegato, elencando poi tutti i traguardi di Chivu in carriera. E su una possibile rivoluzione sul mercato: “Quest’anno abbiamo cominciato a investire su qualche giovane. Questa stagione che verrà con Ausilio e Baccin cercheremo di mettere innesti ancora giovani, ma con i giovani non si vince. Quindi servono giocatori anche d’esperienza. E italiani”, ha concluso Marotta.

This upcoming season with Ausilio and Baccin, we will try to add even more young players, but you don’t win with young players alone. So we need players with experience too, and Italian ones,” Marotta concluded.

Una fonte anonima del mondo degli arbitri racconta all'AGI una parte di quello che ha messo a verbale, in sei ore di deposizione, davanti al pubblico ministero Maurizio Ascione nell'inchiesta che ha portato all'autosospensione del designatore.
Il codice dei segni
"Il codice dei 'segni' a Lissone esisteva ma non tutti ricevevano i 'suggerimenti di Rocchi o di altri. Quelli erano rivolti solo agli 'amici' - spiega in un'intervista nella quale chiede di non essere citato per la delicatezza della sua posizione di testimone in un'indagine in pieno corso -. Chi non si piegava a questo metodo veniva esautorato. All'epoca c'era già un grosso malumore nel resto del gruppo degli addetti al Var, anzi la definirei una totale ribellione sotto traccia della componente sana del gruppo".
Secondo questo testimone, che riferisce di non avere "mai ricevuto 'suggerimenti' in Sala Var perché faceva parte del gruppo dei "ribelli", a girarsi verso la vetrata "erano solo quelli che sapevano che avrebbero ricevuto delle dritte. Per me la frode sportiva è evidente, c'è stata un'alterazione del campionato ma poi valuterà la magistratura".
"Molti errori"
"Queste stesse persone - considera il testimone - quest'anno stanno commettendo molti errori perché non beneficiano più dell'aiuto dai 'supervisori che però erano presenti solo ad alcune partite. In linea di massima quelle che interessavano club importanti o in cui, come per esempio Udinese-Parma che non era un match di cartello, si voleva aiutare qualche 'amico' addetto al Var a fare bene per poi fare carriera". "Io ero uno dei ribelli rispetto a Rocchi e l'ho pagata molto cara. Sono stato male anche a livello psicofisico perché ho un forte senso della giustizia e non riuscivo ad accettare quello che ci stava accadendo" conclude il testimone.

Basically, those that involved important clubs or where, for example, Udinese-Parma – which wasn't a major match – they wanted to help some ‘friends’ referees to do well in order to advance their careers.” “I was one of the rebels against Rocchi, and I paid a very high price for it. I was also unwell on a psychological and physical level because I have a strong sense of justice and couldn’t accept what was happening,” concludes the witness.
