Così la presidente del Parlamento europeo, Roberta Metsola, intervenendo a Che tempo che fa su Nove. Metsola ha risposto a Fabio Fazio che le chiedeva un motivo per avere fiducia nell'Europa.
Poi parlando della guerra e dell'Iran, la presidente ha aggiunto: "Questa situazione ci preoccupa tantissimo, è un'azione unilaterale. Vedo il popolo iraniano che da 47 anni, da tutta la mia vita, ci chiede di aiutarli per prendere la libertà. Per noi la soluzione non sarebbe stata militare, per noi che fondiamo tutto sul principio della legge e del diritto internazionale dovevamo trovare una soluzione diplomatica.
