Kaum durchlebt Cenk in der Schule seine Identitätskrise zwischen „deutsch“ und „nicht deutsch“, wird sofort klar, wie klug und leicht dieser Film sein will. Und wie selten so etwas im deutschen Kino überhaupt noch auftaucht. Dass er auch nur sehr selten im TV läuft, fühlt sich für mich fast schon wie ein kleiner Skandal an, denn diese Komödie ist bis in die letzte Nebenrolle ein Ausnahmefall. Mit Vedat Erincin, Fahri Yardım, Lilay Huser, Demet Gül, Rafael Koussouris, Aylin Tezel und vielen anderen. (ARD, Wh.)

Es gibt Lieder, die sich für mich immer anhören werden, wie das alte Mixtape im Kassettenradio meines ersten Autos. Ein wenig verrauscht, ein wenig aus der Zeit gefallen, aber genau deshalb immer noch so unwiderstehlich. Das hier ist genau dasselbe. Nur ist es eben ein Film. Mika Kaurismäki nimmt die Figur seines notorisch schlecht gelaunten finnischen Bauern und macht aus der Suche nach einem roten Ford Escort (Baujahr 1972) ein melancholisch-komisches Roadmovie über Familie, Alter und die Unfähigkeit von Männern, über Gefühle zu sprechen, ohne dabei einen Verkehrsunfall zu verursachen. Das fühle ich alles. (ARTE, Neu!)
