TILAR is een energieke Duitse 9-koppige funk-pop-jazzband die de aandacht trekt met hun meeslepende liveshows en onderscheidende mix van jazz, disco en R&B. De band werd opgericht in 2019 en staat onder leiding van zangeres Clara Lucas en toetsenist/producers Joshua Milo. Het geluid wordt compleet gemaakt door een vierkoppige blazerssectie, samen met drums, bas en gitaar.

In 2024 bracht TILAR de twee genre-overstijgende albums Unite & Heal en TILAR LIVE 2024 uit. Met humoristisch gemonteerde concertvideo’s die viraal gingen op Instagram en TikTok en miljoenen views bereikten, heeft de band een gestaag groeiende internationale fanbase opgebouwd. Recentelijk trad de band op tijdens de Leverkusen Jazz Days en het gerenommeerde Montreux Jazz Festival.
