One thing that really infuriates me about algorithmic feeds is that when I refresh them, the whole feed changes.

So, if I want to scroll down and go back to a post before the refresh, I... can't.

I wanted my feeds to be a "river of news" in which I dip my toes but, instead, I got a tempest that gets to toss me around as it pleases.
