Charles HarperI took this photograph of the #RiverNene at #sunset in April 2020. The usual #blue with #clouds and #yellow sun and #reflections of #trees in the still water. I sent it to a friend, she passed it on and eventually it came back to me. It had been enhanced and enriched by unplanned and unexpected alterations as it went from one #digital device to another. This is the image I remember as this is how that evening felt. “We do not remember days, we remember moments.”

I wonder if the Romans would have seen great white egrets there like we did today?
