It's easily disassembled, when closed up it has the same amount of water resistance and the screws and sockets are in such a way that you can open it safely multiple times

An aircraft War platform {aircraft carrier} of the United States can't feed its sailors properly

Why?

Ovens, six of eight, were locked due to contract which state they're not allowed to repair their own equipment! More than 15,000 meals are served daily, which means the problem is severe.

Our soldiers are immensely smart and capable and should not need to rely on a third party contractor to maintain their equipment. Oven repair is not rocket science

If I were the Admiral of that carrier I would have just directly commanded the maintenance crew repair the ovens, feed the sailors, and flip off the contractor
