I totally see why at 12, I thought #MichaelPare, unshakably cool, with his "my first stubble" look and puppy dog eyes, is the coolest guy in the world! #RickMoranis in an asshole role! Hill has made the ultimate boy's fantasy, unbound, unapologetic machismo film. The song at the end, framing it perfectly: TONIGHT IS WHAT IT MEANS TO BE YOUNG

Today, I learned that John Candy was originally supposed to be Louis Tully in Ghostbusters and Wayne Szalinski in Honey I Shrunk the Kids.

And that Rick Moranis was originally the one who was supposed to be Ace Ventura before his wife got cancer. (I imagine this was an ENTIRELY different movie than the Carey one ended up being)

But we are getting Spaceballs 2: The Search for More Money in 2027, with Moranis reprising Dark Helmet!
