#RhinoRadio just went from Tom Waits to the Creature Cantina.
I see no issue with this.

Last night, #RhinoRadio offered us some delightfully different music:
https://strategies.schallundstille.de/en/welcome/
This is Strategies Against Algorithms, which is an interesting experiment in sharing creativity amongst humans. It's only available offline, as a trade for a bit of your own creativity.
For our part, we sent some uncut prints from the #SunrisePottyDoor project. In return we received this wonderful booklet and wooden USB drive filled with lovely music.

from the album Lullabies for Astronauts
We've been randomly spinning lots of music available under permissive licenses here at #ThisOldClownHouse recently.
It's been fun to revisit the music of friends like @ice after following their weekly 'sike telo' project last year.
I'll try to keep an ear on #RhinoRadio (the silly name we gave our in-building music streaming solution) so I can shout out more cool things friends have made.
There are clowns next to me learning to use basic command line tools to pull together music playlists for #RhinoRadio!
The nerd is growing strong here. <3

Happy Sunday!
Tonight, while playing in the theater, #RhinoRadio gifted us this thematically appropriate bit of soundtrack:
Artist: Dream Warriors
Album: And Now the Legacy Begins
Track: Follow Me Not
"Who is more fool, who is more fool
The fool or the fool who follows the fool"
Some more progress on #RhinoRadio, #ThisOldClownHouse's in-building music streaming solution.
#MusicPD has been working really well for our needs.
We *were* lamenting a lack of a "Recently Added" feature.
This has been solved with some unmentionably shoddy shell scripting:
https://git.disroot.org/bsdclown/dotfiles/src/branch/main/scripts/MPD_recently_added.sh
This generates an "added in the last X days" playlist whenever it runs.
I tossed it into a cron job, and everyone wins. :)
The experiment of a houseful of clowns taking turns curating music for each other has planted a number of seeds in my mind garden.
The hope that they'll sprout into more complex ideas about sharing, consent, and creating shared spaces feels inevitable and important.
Keeping it silly and playful, especially when entering the idea of 'importance' is also a thing to remember.
Past me is dj'ing tonight, thanks to old playlists.
We're solidly in beforetimes bangers while I cook for clowns.
