Il Tempo: L'Iran accede la miccia con Trump: “Lo Stretto di Hormuz è nostro, avete preso solo batoste”

È l'Iran a controllare lo Stretto di Hormuz e tutti i tentativi del presidente degli Stati Uniti, Donald Trump, di cambiare la situazione sono falliti. Ad assicurarlo è stato Ebrahim Rezaei, portavoce della commissione per la Sicurezza nazionale e la politica estera. "Il controllo iraniano sullo Stretto di Hormuz è consolidato a livello mondiale. Per questo i paesi chiedono il permesso, pagano i pedaggi e, con la guida della Marina dei Pasdaran, fanno passare le loro navi", ha scritto su X. "L'unica persona che non ci crede o non vuole crederci è Trump, che ogni tanto manda il suo esercito ad aprire lo stretto. Arrivano, prendono una batosta e tornano indietro", ha proseguito. "Invece di inutili lamentele e chiacchiere, pensate a inchinarvi al potere degli iraniani nel Golfo Persico", ha concluso Rezaei.

Nel frattempo il portavoce del ministero degli Esteri iraniano, Esmaeil Baghaei, ha condannato i "brutali" attacchi israeliani contro il Libano e ha accusato gli Stati Uniti di essere "complici" dei "crimini" commessi dall'Idf in Libano, nei Territori occupati palestinesi e in tutto il Medio Oriente. Come ricorda Al Jazeera, secondo il ministero della Salute di Beirut, almeno 3.324 persone sono state uccise e 10.027 ferite in Libano dall'inizio del conflitto il 2 marzo. Nel Paese vige formalmente un cessate il fuoco, violato quotidianamente sia dai soldati di Israele che dai miliziani di Hezbollah. Negli ultimi giorni l'Idf ha ripreso a bombardare sistematicamente il Paese, arrivando a colpire Tiro e la zona di Beirut oltre che il sud e la valle della Bekaa, e ha ampliato i combattimenti sul terreno, operando a nord della linea difensiva auto-imposta nel sud del Libano.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei condemned the “brutal” Israeli attacks on Lebanon and accused the United States of being “complicit” in the “crimes” committed by the IDF in Lebanon, the Occupied Palestinian Territories, and throughout the Middle East. As Al Jazeera notes, according to the Beirut Health Ministry, at least 3,324 people have been killed and 10,027 injured in Lebanon since the start of the conflict on March 2. A ceasefire formally prevails in the country, which is daily violated both by Israeli soldiers and by Hezbollah militants. In recent days, the IDF has resumed systematically bombing the country, reaching targets in Tyre and the Beirut area, as well as the south and Bekaa Valley, and has expanded ground combat operations north of the self-imposed defensive line in southern Lebanon.

Il Tempo: "Se Usa attaccano, uranio arricchito al 90%". La minaccia di Teheran

Teheran sta valutando la possibilità di arricchire l'uranio fino al 90% qualora gli Stati Uniti riprendessero gli attacchi contro l'Iran. Lo ha affermato Ebrahim Rezaei, portavoce della commissione per la politica estera e la sicurezza nazionale del Parlamento iraniano. La proposta sarà esaminata venerdì dal Parlamento di Teheran, ha aggiunto Rezaei.

Intanto l'Iran ha giustiziato un uomo condannato per ribellione armata, ha annunciato la magistratura, nell'ultima di una serie di impiccagioni avvenute dall'inizio della guerra con Israele e gli Stati Uniti. "La condanna a morte per Abdoljalil Shahbakhsh, figlio di Jalal, membro addestrato del gruppo terroristico Ansar al-Furqan, è stata eseguita", si legge sul sito web della magistratura Mizan Online. Era stato accusato di ribellione "per attacchi armati contro le stazioni di polizia e per appartenenza al gruppo ribelle Ansar al-Furqan", hanno aggiunto le autorità. Ansar al-Furqan è un gruppo militante sunnita attivo nella provincia sud-orientale iraniana del Sistan-Baluchestan. Secondo la magistratura, Shahbakhsh ha compiuto i suoi attacchi durante le proteste che hanno scosso l'Iran nel 2022 e nel 2023, in seguito alla morte in custodia di Mahsa Amini, una giovane donna curda iraniana. La sua condanna è stata confermata dalla Corte Suprema, hanno aggiunto le autorità. He had been accused of rebellion “for armed attacks against police stations and for membership in the rebel group Ansar al-Furqan,” the authorities added. Ansar al-Furqan is a militant Sunni group active in Iran’s southeast province of Sistan-Baluchestan. According to the judiciary, Shahbakhsh carried out his attacks during the protests that shook Iran in 2022 and 2023 following the death in custody of Mahsa Amini, a young Kurdish Iranian woman. His sentence was confirmed by the Supreme Court, the authorities added. According to human rights organizations, Iran is the second country in the world for the number of death sentences, after China. The Iran Human Rights organization, based in Norway, says that the Islamic Republic has executed at least 1,500 people last year, one of the highest figures globally.
