My Dream Home? Oh, It Floats!

Let’s get one thing straight—I’m not interested in a white picket fence, a two-car garage, or a backyard with a swing set. No, my dream home has waves beneath it, an infinity pool overlooking the ocean, and a deck big enough to host questionable life choices at sunset.

That’s right, my dream home is a yacht. And not just any yacht—one that would make a billionaire weep with envy.

Why a Yacht? Well, Why Not?

First of all, have you seen houses lately? Mortgages are terrifying, neighbors are nosy, and let’s be honest—HOA fees feel like organized crime.

A yacht, on the other hand, is pure freedom. Feel like waking up in Santorini? Set sail. Want fresh lobster in the Bahamas? Drop anchor. Need to escape awkward small talk with your second cousin at Thanksgiving? The ocean is vast, my friend.

Amenities Fit for a Sea Queen (or King)

Let’s break down the essentials of my floating palace:

Infinity Pool – Because what’s better than swimming in water while surrounded by even more water?
Private Chef – I won’t be frying my own fish when I could have a five-star meal prepared daily.
Multiple Decks – One for sunbathing, one for dining, one for dramatic Titanic reenactments.
Helipad – Obviously, for those days when even the yacht feels too restrictive.

Look, every dream has its hiccups. I’ll have a plan for storms (probably called ‘Sail Away Very Quickly’), and as for deliveries, let’s just say my yacht will be fully stocked at all times.

No one should have to go without their skincare routine just because they live on the water.

The best part? Remote work has made this dream even more attainable. Wi-Fi exists at sea, and with the right satellite setup, I can still answer emails while sipping something tropical.

So there you have it. While some dream of townhouses or penthouses, I dream of a home that can take me anywhere I please.

This morning, my son and his buddies threw out a dangerous question: “Are you superstitious?”

Now, logically, I want to say no. I don’t walk around tossing salt over my shoulder or fearing black cats. But if we’re being honest… I also refuse to say things like “Wow, nothing has gone wrong today!” because I know the universe is listening.

So, am I superstitious? Let’s just say I respect the possibility of unseen forces—but I’m also not afraid to test them.
