Fascinating thing:
I thought developing crossplatform GUI applications in this day and age might be painful. Especially since setting up C/C++ stuff in Windows is kinda hard.
Well, previously it turned out that setting up MSYS2 on Windows was pretty easy actually.
And now it turns out that #GTK has #RustLang bindings and the examples actually compile without a hitch.
Oooh. Suddenly, this old Java app I made ages ago that I've been trying to painfully create in C# looks like it could be somewhat tolerable to #rewriteinrust, and not just because it's fashionable or anything.
Only hitch is, last time I touched GTK+ was back in 2.x days. ...But I kinda liked it back then!
