Speaking about falling apart, the CPU has a pin barely being held in place. I don’t think I caused it (it came out cleanly when I took it out to wash the board). I inserted it back carefully and it’s working but I’m pretty sure this CPU will never come out of this socket again in one piece. #retroApple

Oh apparently a 68LC040 can’t use a 68882 FPU. Had no idea. Guess the 68882 goes back to the LC III, then. A bit of a waste to have bought an Ethernet card with FPU slot but to be fair they were all pretty much the same price. #retroApple
