How should we fund good journalism?

Access is no longer broadcast towers and recording studios. Should we question funding institutions. We do need to fund quality journalism and trusted sources.

My current thinking is that we should use the TV licence to fund a peertube instance for public broadcast and promote quality via something like pressawards.org.uk funding awards. We should not link youtube nor quote twitter.
