I'm a middle aged nobody, I like to claim to be a gamer but really I lean toward books. Love mystery genre, but generally will branch out to anything that's not alloromantic-centric, white-gazey, or male-gazey. It seems like my taste is more "feel" based than genre based. Severe allergy against any work following Joseph Campbell formula.

Rotate across various hobbies, usually along creative writing, illustration, resin craft, clay sculpture, textile, etc etc. Once wanted to do these things for living, but alas I'm old and I'm talentless so I'm pretty defeated these days.

I live somewhere in south hemisphere, one of the Five Eyes. NESB, while I prefer to not use English, it seems that this is the language I'm stuck with. It's as terrible as you'd imagine. No advice wanted unless specified.

I have RT/fav notifications OFF. While my follow requests tend to be ON, somehow I'm not getting requests in my inbox so don't expect immediate approval, I'll get around to it sorry.

I don't do "reviews". If I'm going to post about stuff I've played or read, it's intentionally a notes taking for myself and will be spoilers everywhere. It's not reviews, nor it's ever meant to be.

I do not consent to screencap, repost, QRT, scrape etc. Anyone posting common sensitive posts/images without CW will be blocked; I'm sure you think you are edgy but chances are I've seen more corpses than you have, and I still don't want to explain to the person next to me on a train about your inconsideration. Muting uncommon CWs that affects me are my duty not yours. Lots of terms are muted here, if I'm ignoring a specific post from you it's probably because of that.
