The Ford government knew that Bill 124 was driving nurses from hospitals. The Ford government knew this and then actively appealed a court decision to strike down Bill 124.
Coupled with ZERO government messaging on the value of retaining veteran nurses (yes, I have the receipts), it looks very much like Bill 124 was used intentionally as a way to flush Ontario's most experienced hospital nurses from the public payroll and to private agencies.
