Today's #diy project was to #repair the indicator light ("info light") on our #siemens #dishwasher that has been nonfunctional for a good while now. It should shine a blue light on the floor while the machine is running. Not a critical function, but how hard can it be to get a little led to work, right? Yeah a bit harder than it should have been. Took some perseverance and ai assistance to get through it, but spoiler alert; now it works again!

I love this Honda motorcycle design: a dead-simple, low-tech (other than the powertrain) solution to electric mobility. Steel frame, cable-actuated drum brakes, old-school rear shocks, outboard replaceable batteries. I hope they actually turn this into a real product.

Switching the glossy display of my #framework 13 to the matte variant was a joy. Well explained guide. Just a few screws. No hidden plastic snappers that are just way too easy to break.
All done in under 10 minutes.
Ordered a usb-c to edp board to have options on what to do with the old still functioning screen

Now if memory prices wouldn't be through the roof I could even consider upgrading the motherboard to something more recent.

I'd agree with the ratings as these are purchased by my employers specifically for their ruggedness (they are issued to frontline staff using specialist apps for health and social care) and I've even seen spare parts including LCD screens readily available on Amazon and EBay, but its the first time I've seen one of these stickers (must be some new initiative)
