I replaced the unit with a #Reolink light/cam. It integrates very nicely with #HomeAssistant.
The old unit was full of actual bugs – bug carcasses that is. Also turns out to be a flood and a camera combo as well, but without a network connection, and the media slot was empty. Not so useful up at roof height.
Trying to remember my old media card standards. Bigger than a full sized SDcard, but smaller than PCMCIA…
CompactFlash? Something like that.
Have I mentioned lately how much I *hate* my #Reolink cameras?
Stationary vehicles are constantly seen as "moving" according to the cameras.
Shadows are constantly seen as "people" or "pets" according to the cameras.
Sure, I can add a "motion delay" but then they won't pick up ACTUAL vehicles coming into the driveway.
Sure, I can lower the person/pet sensitivity, but then they miss ACTUAL people and pets they should pick up.
Garbage, garbage, garbage.
