I've been approved for an apartment which is closer to my bf (by 10-15 minutes), is closer to everything (except DC), is bigger than my current apartment, and is not a shithole like my current apartment.

I'm going to pay a bit more, but it is worth it.

It is also closer to the MoCo Pride Center by 10 minutes. I'm getting more involved with this center. So this is very welcome.

The reason I'm at my current location is that three years ago, I was in a relationship (that lasted 7 months) with a girl who lived nearby. I wanted to move closer to her, but she broke up with me after I had signed the lease, but before I moved in. Fun times. (As in very shitty times...)

("Shithole" is relative, but my current location is the place where I've had the worst customer experience, ever.)
