The Finnish guitarist, band leader and arranger Esa Pulliainen (1957-2026) passed away on Saturday. Although he was widely imitated, no one could really replicate his sound and his sense of style.
Since his band, the Agents, recorded newly arranged versions of old tunes, there is a lot of great material for #MondayCovers among their repertoire. They reached the peak of their popularity in the mid-eighties with vocalist Topi Sorsakoski - this was one of their biggest hits:

The song was originally recorded in 1965 as "My Heart Must Do the Crying" by the Renegades, a British group that was hugely popular in Finland at the time. The first Finnish-language version was done by Danny in 1966.
