I've got flaps! Ordered these as the back and sides of the #Renault5 are collecting lots of tar and crap, and they're more in keeping with the rally vibe.

Unsure if I want to use the bundled self-tappers, I'll need to pull the trim off the wheel arches to see if there are pre drilled holes for the OEM flaps first.

Took the #Renault5 to the West Cork rally, and it was fantastic on the flowing country roads down there. No fear of range, though one of the chargers in Kenmare was iffy.
First long trip in the #Renault5 on Friday: Galway to Belcoo (County Fermanagh) to Adare and back to Galway, about 600km on great backroads through County Roscommon and County Leitrim. Maybe it was the first-spring vibe or the empty roads, but the car devoured the distance. Two stops for food and the loo, charging each time. Fast chargers cost about petrol parity, but no waiting around.#EV
A couple of weeks ago I got a small #Bose amp for my 10th work anniversary. Now I’m hunting for speakers on local classifieds and wondered how to test them. Then I realised I could power the amp via the #V2L adaptor on the #Renault5. That led to a bigger idea: a boot-mounted home stereo (up to 1300W). Static only, charge flap open… but still.
