@TheRealBozoTClown @TonyStark It's the Separation of Powers in American democracy, that needs to be fixed.
As long as the judicial branch of power is dependent on partisan votes of the legislative branch of power (House/Senate), judicial independence is bound to be compromised.
And these days, revelations about corrupt interrelations between SCOTUS justices & partisan influencers once again disprove the naive assumption, that lifetime appointments of justices automatically guarantee judicial independence.
That hope blew up crashingly.
