The political movement Turning Point, which became TP Faith, is directly paralleling Spiritual Mobilization. The goal is to get churches to preach that capitalism and free enterprise have the same mindset as Christianity, which leads to any social support systems being viewed as evil. They get Christians to vote against their own interests and in support of big corporations.

Ultimately, all the right-wing Christianity in politics is on purpose and is meant to support the wealthiest Americans and their big corporations.

And with Gen Z, it's not working! Not like it did in the 40s/50s and the 80s.

Drew McCoy takes a deep dive into the history of Christianity & politics in this video.

The three religions most active in #AmericanPolitics all claim to believe in at least the first half of this book, and it is the most misquoted and misrepresented book on the planet, because most of the #voters have never read it.

In a functional #democracy, it is unacceptable for so much of the voting base to be completely ignorant on a factor which drives policy on such a massive scale.
