This is why I wrote #RegionsOfEurope 2.0.
As my old history teacher used to say, (that in Europe) nations are an invention of the 19th century.
It is time to overcome this concept developed in the 15th century.

Time to catch up: a defensive union of the #Saxon kingdoms is no longer needed: there are no raids by #Highlanders, the #Irish, the #Vikings anymore and there is no #Danelaw.
However, there's #NATO + the #EuropeanUnion.
1,137 years after #รlfred became King of the #AngloSaxons , it's time for a paradigm shift. It is time for the #RegionsOfEurope 2.0, in particular for the #BritishIsles:
The #WarInUkraine is "philosophically" based on the absurd and historically fall idea of ancient claims to a #Russian #Empire.
Diverse peoples, like the #Europeans, fare much better in a #Federation than in a centralized state (like #France).

It is time for a #RegionsOfEurope 2.0:
The present-day territories of the traditional #Saxon, #Celtic, and #Scottish kingdoms of old could all #Rejoin the #EuropeanUnion, like the trendsetters of #EasternEurope. ;)
Sort of like simultaneously moving the #HadriansWall to enclose all of the #BritishIsles while concurrently eliminating it.
This would also make any #Ulster and #Scottish questions obsolete.
