That #NactionalFirst's #regionalfueltax #taxcut is unpopular & will actually cost #Auckland rate payers more, but they're going ahead anyway, is such a perfect analogy for #conservative politics i can't believe it's real.

Pakuranga residents are hoping Auckland's mayor will not follow through on his threat to scrap the Eastern Busway project if central government gets rid of the regional fuel tax.
