Weekend StoriesIn part of Germany, today is celebrated as #ReformationDay. But who is really being celebrated here? Earlier this year I wrote a short series about #MartinLuther. Turns out that he was an #antisemite, a preacher of #violence, who endorsed #killing disabled children, urged crushing #peasants, inspired #Nazi ideology, and lived in #excess. In the end, it is even questionable whether to call him a true #Christian.

found some time for #coffeeneuring #coffeeneuring2025 no 4 today, as it is a public holiday here in northern Germany.
It isn't because of #Halloween, although the pumpkin event is quite popular here too since some time ;-)
Had a nice 18.64 miles / 30 km #cycle and found #coffee and a muffin decorated with chocolate #bats in the only opened bakery in town.
