A Reed Warbler at RSPB Strumpshaw Fen, we were walking along the river path and heard some chicks in a nest intermittently. The parents were in and out of the tree with plenty of insects.

A Eurasian Reed Warbler (Acrocephalus scirpaceus) at RSPB Middleton Lakes last month, near to where I watched a singing Sedge #Warbler earlier the same day. Both birds, uncharacteristically, perched where I could photograph them, although this one did keep his head behind that reed stem most of the time!

The Common reed warbler or Kleine Karekiet in Dutch, I've been hearing them the past 2 weeks when visiting #DeSchammer but finally managed to see and photograph them yesterday morning.

The #ReedWarbler is much more difficult to photograph than some of its relatives.
Not because it is so rare. It is common and can be seen frequently: But first it sits and sings low in the reeds and when it leaves, the nimble brown ball flies to its destination and disappears again between the stalks.
