Today I dolled myself up to go to my cousin's birthday party in Roskilde 🩷 It went.... okay? It's so awkward with my dad and his wife, who I didn't know were coming until they walked through the door. I'm tired of being "nice" to protect of someone who has never protected me, not even when I was a child. So just say things as they are 🤷‍♀️ Like when my aunt and I talked about sleep and I said that I have C-PTSD and have nightmares every night, due to my traumatic upbringing. I don't see why it should be hidden? It's the truth 🤷‍♀️ But I'll probably get trouble for saying that out loud and writing it here. But I really don't care anymore. It is what it is 🩷

Today I went to individual therapy in DAT and it was really tough ❤️‍🩹 We are working on a timeline and have reached when I was around 9-13 years old, when there were a lot of neglect from the adults in my life. It creates some kind of irritation that there have been so many adults in my childhood who have not intervened. It hurts that as a child I had to act like an adult because the adults did not 🩷 But it is good talk about it with my therapist, even though it is hard 🩷

Started the day not being able to wake up properly due to an upcoming migraine. But had group therapy in DAT and it means a lot to me to have a "normal" everyday life. That is, where you go to "work" on weekdays and do "normal" everyday stuff. So I managed to pull myself together and get going, even though it was hard 🩷 But it was good that I did it, because it was a huge victory 🫶 When I got home I started sewing and it turned into this upcycled shirt 🪡 I'm SO happy with how it turned out! I really feel like I'm learning more and more every time I sew and it's really nice 🩷🪡

Omg I had the best meeting today! I went to a meeting at Team Mod På Livet, about starting an internship there and on their Peer to Peer school and it went so well! It all won't be up and running until after the summer holidays, as there are many closing days and absences over the summer. But I'm really looking forward to it! I'm going to an intro course for the Peer to Peer school this June and also got to talk to the person in charge of it. She said that I had a good chance of being accepted, as I already work voluntarily as an LGBTQ+FRIEND, which is also Peer to Peer work 🌈 I think it could be really good! 🩷

The day has been a total "me day" 🩷 I have 3 different wardrobes because my weight fluctuates so much. They are in bags under my bed so I can pull out different sizes. Today I went through all the clothes and found so many upcycling possibilities! So sewed this shirt today! It's an old t-shirt (that I was SO sad about not being able to fit anymore) and two other old shirts 🪡 I'm SO happy with how it turned out 😍 There are endless possibilities in all the clothes I sorted, I'm really looking forward to upcycling it all! 🩷🪡
