A curious phenomenon on the bird site: Numerous users with fewer than half a dozen followers have been having exactly the same dream. What might cause this?

Last night I had another one of those dreams where there's a producer guy I should recognize but don't and in the dream I thought, this is just like those dreams I have where there's a producer guy I should recognize but don't

Last night had one of those dreams where it seemed inevitable that I'd offend or just act inappropriately toward a guy that was famous or well-connected and could be of help to me if I could only remember what his name or position was or where we'd met in the past...
Somehow the guy is always commercially handsome, younger than me, European, White, often Belgian, a "producer" (as in the guy who selects &/or pays, not the one who creates).

I'm fascinated by the concept of #RecurringDreams, particularly how specific scenarios in them are common among different people.

Like, how many people have dreamed about finding a new door in their house, leading to a previously unknown room? I have!

Me and @teahands just discovered a new one we both have - an anxiety dream about being unable to operate our phones. For me, it's always about needing to search for something urgently, but being unable to accurately type into the search box!

I once again had a #dream last night where one of my friends is #trans , and this time they were just another girl in class at my school I went to, and some of my other friends were there and this was like during break. Does anyone else have #RecurringDreams where what keeps happening is one of your friends is trans (always the same one) but always a different situation? Is my subconscious telling me something I don't know yet or is it wishful thinking because it would be cool? #dreams

Because of CPTSD, I have a lot of nightmares/night terrors, & I didn’t get to discuss the specifics of any of my recurring dreams with my therapist before she died, unfortunately.

I need to put a journal by the bed; start writing my dreams down right when I wake up. Maybe I can find someone to help me with these β€œdream places.” /end #RecurringDreams #DreamPlaces

@minneyar I have a similar recurring conference dream/nightmare, where I forget to check in to the hotel and/or register, so I have no room and no badge. Often then I get put into a room with no walls (like a tent in a hallway). Also ones where I can't find my room, often involving multiple elevators (elevator dreams is a genre all its own). You are not alone!
