The bear-resistant garbage cans in West Yellowstone, Montana, the Custer Gallatin National Forest, and Yellowstone National Park were tested by the bears at the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center. Proper use of these containers protects people and bears.

Many Forest Road corridors will transition to designated sites only - still free and first-come, first-serve, but no more camping wherever you want. This protects our lands from waste and overuse.
