In an onstage speech, Garbage singer Shirley Manson explained that the band is touring North America for the last time due to the economics of the industry.

Mainstream tech journos falling for the next marketing trap. In my alternate reality, where more material junk equals good, this is not without charm. But I can not ignore the 2025 cognitive dissonance. I like playful uselessness, but I dislike plastic consumer products. Can’t have it all, I guess. If it can feed some artist, it might be worth it. But I highly doubt that.
