edwardchampionRebecca Godfrey passed away last month. I hadn't read any of her work, but I had heard very good things about her. And, sure enough, her novel THE TORN SKIRT is a fierce and blisteringly honest volume, somewhere between Mary Gaitskill and the draw of EUPHORIA that came years later. And now I am much sadder that I never got the chance to meet her or send her a thank you.
