I just got told that I am not a real Christian since I am gay. I think that is the biggest contradiction of Christ's work I have ever, ever, ever heard in my life. I think self reflection and how some people choose to love and show respect needs to be reevaluated. My goodness. βœοΈπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ
On a positive note, happy pride month to all of my LGBT peaps! If someone hates you for being yourself, they are bitter and have nothing better to criticize. Let's fight them with kindness. πŸ•ΆοΈπŸ’™

#jesus is for many #USA #believers too #woke & #liberal [1][2]. One could argue they are finally getting it. He provided free food & healthcare, supported the #poor, & is an #inspiration to #destroy the #statusquo.

It is rare to meet a #realchristian, & so refreshing when it does happen. It provides #hope, while removing #despair. That is the #essence of #leftwing #politics. Create #change to #realise a #betterfuture for all. 5/5

Pope says some 'backward' conservatives in US Catholic Church have replaced faith with ideology

Pope Francis has blasted the β€œbackwardness” of some conservatives in the U.S. Catholic Church. He says they have replaced faith with ideology and that a correct understanding of Catholic doctrine allows for change over time. Francis made the comments in a private meeting with Portuguese Jesuits during a visit to Lisbon on Aug. 5. The Jesuit journal La Civilta Cattolica published a transcript of the encounter Monday. During the meeting, a Portuguese Jesuit told Francis that he had suffered during a recent sabbatical year in the United States because he came across many Catholics who criticized Francis. The pope acknowledged his point, saying there was β€œa very strong, organized reactionary attitude” in the U.S. church.
