Andrew Littlejohn will have a live stream conversation with Ernst Karel on the phenomenon of sonic ethnography.
Following this will be a screening of Karel's thought-provoking film "Expedition Content" (2020, co-directed with Veronika Kusumaryati), offering a critical perspective on the ethnographic classic "Dead Birds" (1963).
