#RazorBladeThroat you say?
The latest Covid variant, nicknamed “razor blade throat”, seems to have increased transmissibility resulting in more people ending up in hospital.
Most healthcare systems still haven’t adopted clean or mandatory respirator use.
Hospital acquired COVID has a 10% fatality rate.
My guide to avoiding catching COVID in hospital:

Not clear even after a web search which variant/s are associated with #RazorBladeThroat.
My suspicion is XDV.* based descendants, of which I think NB.1.8.1 is currently more common.
Google results are poor and I'm not confident in the webpage that claims the XDV based variants are the culprit.
Somewhat concerned that this commonly reported symptom appears a. more intensely painful, b. may be resulting from more severe lessions, & c. is located nearish to lungs.
